Nestable containers are one of the simplest ways to reduce the volume of stackable plastic containers for the return transport.
When full, the boxes can be transported in the stack. They are nested for the return transport, which means that they are pushed inside one another, reducing the overall size of the containers. This is done either by the use of lids or stacking frames, or in the case of stack and nest containers by simply rotating the box, reducing the overall size of the containers. Significantly more empty containers will fit inside a truck than full containers.
